Prof M P Surendranathan , a student of History from Calicut University joined Government College, Perumthalmanna as lecturer. He has been inspirational in his love of History of India and the World. Prof Surendranathan recently retired as Professor of History from the same college.
His compassion towards his brethren is clearly evident in the fact that he has been a regular volunteer at Pain and Palliative Care centre at Perumthalmanna for close to twenty-five years now.
